Named in honor of Simon Sing Horo, a revered leader and advocate for Tea Tribe rights, this scholarship scheme aims to empower deserving students to overcome financial barriers and pursue their academic aspirations.


4. Financial Assistance for Higher Studies

Recognizing the importance of higher education in fostering socio-economic development, the government offers financial assistance to Adivasi & Tea Tribe students pursuing advanced studies. Through skill development training, financial assistance, and market linkages, the program empowers youth to establish and sustain their own businesses, creating avenues for economic growth and self-reliance within the community.
